The narrative here is one with which we’re all familiar. The statistics are unequivocal – global temperatures have been steadily rising since industrialisation, and our hotter summers and colder winters aren’t ‘just weather’*. Can we reverse this and avoid the projected damage to our environment? I don’t know; opinion is divided. This series imagines the future, if we can’t, of one small patch of land where a bridge crosses a river.

The paintings shown in the film are all now individually AR-embedded so the video can be viewed by pointing the Artivive app at each of them, and also at the wall of the Khushbu restaurant on the corner of Saltings Way and The High Street.

You’ll need the ARTIVIVE app, which is a free download from your app store, and you’ll need to enable mobile data on your device. Good light helps but not full-on sunlight, your phone’s camera won’t appreciate that!
