As with the other recent pieces, this is also made using water-soluble oils on a 50x40cm canvas. The detail above shows the bridge to be underwater, reflecting the projected impact of rising water levels globally should climate change not be addressed urgently, seriously, and head-on.

Description

The image below shows the bridge more clearly emphasised using watercolour pencil (dry) drawn into the scratched lines of the bridge made with a stylus. I used fixative on this section to minimise the effects of accidental wetting. An irony if ever there was one.
