Adur river

I discovered a while ago that labels on paintings were called tombstones by the Victorians because of their shape. Historically, they were limited to 75 words and generally included the title, materials used, and the artist’s name, but some also took their brief into poetry. It will come as no surprise to anyone at all that I’ve massively subverted this notion. Stay tuned, as they say.

The associated paintings may be a while appearing as I have quite a stack to search through. Be worth it though, right?

Found it, here’s the link.
